“After training as a mechatronics technician and earning a degree in mechanical engineering, I realized I wanted to work where ideas produce sawdust, so I chose an apprenticeship at Pfeiffer. “I began my joinery apprenticeship at Pfeiffer in 2018 and finished in 2021. In 2024, I completed my full-time master’s degree. I now lead the carcass construction division and guide our apprentices. For me, being approachable matters most – treating apprentices as equals when explaining products and processes, setting an example, and sometimes just enjoying a quick card game or round of darts at lunch. The personal connection keeps our team strong.”
“I started as an apprentice at Pfeiffer and I stayed because I love the combination of craftsmanship, materials, and people. After a few years as a journeyman, I began covering for the team leader – first nervously, then confidently. That stand-in position then became a full-time responsibility, and today, I coordinate the team, keep processes running smoothly, and still work hands-on when needed. Staying close to the workbench is what leadership means to me.”

A short phone interview (30–45 min.), followed by an in-person conversation (45–60 min.). Feel free to ask any questions you may have regarding tasks, culture, and opportunities. We will talk openly – about expectations, possibilities, and the next steps.

Typically, we arrange 1–2 trial days so that both parties can get a feel for each other, the tasks, and the team. When you start, a mentor will support you, introduce you to the team, and help you settle in quickly.
