We are pleased to welcome Luisa and Daniel to Team Pfeiffer for the start of their 2026 apprenticeship. Both are training with us to become carpenters (pictured on the outside are the apprentices, with our instructor Tom in the middle).
In addition to their first few days of practical work at the company, the start of their training included three weeks at the woodworking school in Bad Wildungen. After the first six weeks, their verdict is: "I definitely feel like I've settled in well."
At the Bad Wildungen woodworking school, our apprentices learned the fundamentals of the carpentry trade during their GTI course. Using chisels, saws, and cordless drills, they created their first pieces, such as wooden squares, frames, and stools. The focus was also on precision, workplace safety, and the safe handling of tools.
At Pfeiffer, we teach more than just traditional woodworking. As experts in solid surface materials, our apprentices also gain the necessary expertise in working with these materials. We have been working with Corian since 1987, creating seamless solutions for kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial interiors. This allows our apprentices to combine traditional carpentry with modern materials and manufacturing techniques.
As they progress, Luisa and Daniel will be introduced to further areas of work. We look forward to supporting them on their journey and wish them a successful and educational apprenticeship.
